First Food!!

Over the last few days Owen has been showing definite signs of an interest in real food. He eyes us with extreme interest as we eat and has been getting a bit frustrated with just breast milk, I think he realizes that there's something better out there!

So, today I tried giving him his first taste of grown-up food (some rice cereal mixed with breast milk served on a spoon). He took to it very well, if messily, and we've been trying a little bit each day - although some days he's definitely less interested. We'll see Dr. Morse on Monday and ask if he's ready to graduate to more food stuffs, such as veggies and fruit (pureed of course). Sorry - no pictures, it's not possible to take pictures and feed a baby at the same time! I do have some wonky video though (balancing on a pillow!) that I'll get up one day soon.
