Redfish Memories

Our first camping trip to Redfish Lake this summer was wonderful. Beautiful weather, the perfect spot right on Little Redfish Lake. We ate well, swam lots, enjoyed the lake and soaked up the sun. Brian even got to see about 60 Sockeye Salmon (for whom the lake is named), which is a rare treat as they're endangered. The only blip was the 12am near-rush to the ER as Owen woke up screaming, but he calmed down after 45 minutes of parental panic, just as we were about to get in the car and drive for almost 2 hours to the nearest hospital... ahhh, the joys of parent-hood (and living in the middle of nowhere!).
