(for all the England trip posts, start at the top post, titled England, and work your way back down)

This week we went to a wedding, which is where two people who had been together for 10 years finally got married. Mummy said it was about time too. I didn't get to go to the wedding (mummy said she needed to drink, I need to drink too but I don't think mummy drank milk at the wedding). I stayed with grandma and grandpa in Knockerdown Farm in the Peak District (although I didn't see any peaks). Aunty Jo and Henrie stayed with us all too, but they went to the wedding with mummy and daddy. While I was in Knockerdown Farm I rolled on to my tummy which was the first time I'd ever done it. I was very proud of myself. It was September 20th, which was the day Cariad and Mike got married, said mummy. As I was so good I got to watch the bridesmaids and bride get dressed, and mummy said I was very lucky as no other boys were allowed too. It was fun, I got lots of kisses.

After the wedding we said bye bye to grandma and grandpa and went on another road trip. We drove to Ludlow in Shropshire where we had cream teas and saw a castle and then we drove to a cider farm called Broome Farm in Ross-on-Wye, which daddy was really excited about. We saw lot of pigs and lots of apples and daddy drank lots of apple juice but I wasn't allowed any.

Then we drove through Wales (briefly - which made mummy happy) and back to grandma and grandpa in Dorset. We go to see Great Aunt Alix and Uncle James again and I saw the sea for the first time ever. We were in a town called Wareham and it was the English Channel. A big wave came up and splashed me and I didn't cry, so I was a good boy.

We then went on a train, which was my first time, it was an old-fashioned one my mum said and it went choo choo. It took us to a big castle with no ceilings called Corfe Castle and mummy said that daddy had better stop complaining about having not been able to go here on his first time in England as we were here now and he had better like it. I fell asleep so I don't know if he liked it or not.

Here I am outside a pub in the town where Beatrix Potter lived

Here I am in a pub with daddy in a town called York, which was a very old city that we visited, mummy shopped and daddy checked out the Minster. This pub used to be the home of someone called Guy Fawkes who tried to blow up people a long time ago.

Wow - What a trip. Damn shame I won't remember any of it... good thing my mum is spending so much time updating this blog for me! It's been a blast.
Love,
Owen
